Our cancellation policy

 

We understand that sometimes you may have to cancel your appointment.

Please give us at least 24 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of your service or treatment will be charged.

It is very difficult to fill appointments at short notice, but if we do we manage to fill the appointment we will not charge you a cancellation fee.​

If you need to cancel, please give us a call or use our online booking system.

Please don’t text, email or put a message on social media as we may not receive the message in time. 

Please note these penalties may be waived at the discretion of Lyra Beauty.  

Deposit 

A deposit will be taken when you previously have missed a past appointment, 

or your appointment is more than 2 hours long. 

For future appointments you will be asked to pay a deposit.

A deposit of 25% of the cost of your service or treatment will be charged if you:

  • Missed your last appointment with us; or

  • Are booking an appointment lasting more than two hours or for a series of appointments.

The deposit will be taken off your bill when you pay for the service or treatment you have received.

The deposit will be fully refunded if you cancel, as long as you give us at least 24 hours notice.

If you give us less than 24 hours notice but we are able to fill the appointment, we will either refund you the deposit or put it towards the cost of your next appointment.

The deposit will be fully refunded if a service or treatment is unsuitable for you or cannot be provided for any reason.

Vouchers

If you have received a gift voucher for lyra beauty we do have a few T&C's for you.

This Voucher can be used for it's value it doesn't have to be a specific treatment, ie the voucher may cover the whole treatment, or part of a treatment or it can be used for payment of a product.
 

Please note the vouchers have a 1 year expiry date.

If you have an expired voucher please contact us directly before booking.

Under certain situations lyra beauty may be able to waiver and come to an alternative arrangement but this is to the discretion of lyra Beauty.

This voucher cannot be used with conjunction of any other offers and discounts. 

If you have misplaced your voucher, we may ask for proof of purchase to find it on our system. 

 

Product patch testing 

Lyra Beauty has the right to refuse any treatments where a suitable patch test has not been received by the client.

Patch tests need to be done 48 hours before any eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyelash lift treatment or eyelash enhancements. 

Patch testing needs to be redone every 6 months.

Please note Lyra Beauty will not be held responsible if the client does not tell therapist if any medical history has changed since their last visit. 

Covid-19 

If you have suspected Covid-19 or have tested positive for Covid-19 please contact us and reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. 

We will waiver any cancellation penalties due to Covid-19 and we will either refund your deposit or we can use it towards your next appointment.

Keeping to time

If you are running late, we will do our best to fit you in, but we may not be able to carry out the full service or treatment. 

Please allow plenty of time for traveling a parking to us.
